Emily Procter

 

Emily Mallory Procter (born October 8th 1988,) is an American actress and activist. She was Ainsley Hayes, a character in The West Wing's political dramas (2000-2002, 2006 and 2006). Calleigh Duquesne in an actor on a CBS police procedural show called CSI: Miami (2002–2012).



 



 Childhood and early life



 Procter was born on the night of October 8, 1968. She was adopted at an infant age by William Procter, a general practitioner, and Barbara Jones, a volunteer worker. They raised her in Raleigh, North Carolina. She was only three years old when her parents separated. She has an older brother, Whit, who is also adopted.



 



 Ravenscroft School, Raleigh was Procter's school. Procter attended East Carolina University and was an active member of Alpha Delta Pi. She worked as a television anchor for the WNCT-TV in Greenville, North Carolina. After graduation, she received degrees in journalism and dance.
